Evil Kramer's Theory Corner

In order to truly experience a dominant 7th, one must implement the 5th degree of the major scale in the chosen key. After a snifter of fine brandy, I enjoy nothing more than the dissonant tonalities of a flatted 7th played alongside the original triad of previously chosen key. One will find, upon execution of a major triad of our chosen key, following the afore mentioned dominant 7th (as described above) and played with a gentle strum, a pleasing aroma of sound that will drift lighty throughout the room...like a cake. A very expensive cake...baking. Slathering said cake in a dark chocolate ganache and covering with a fine drizzle of raspberry compote, one will find an evening of complete and unprotestable pleasure waiting on the tip of one's fork. mmmmmmmm . . . cake.
